The Jazz II Program

The Jazz Band (Jazz II) at Windsor High School is the introductory Jazz Ensemble for High School Band Members. The Jazz Band consists of students from grades 9-12, but are usually first or second year Jazz Band students. Students in the Jazz Band benefit greatly from the technique and music theory instruction tied to the class. In addition to technique and theory, the Jazz Band offers an introduction into improvisation and Jazz styles. The Jazz Band performs concerts throughout the year.
